The on-site inspection typically takes between 2 and 4 hours, depending on the property's size and condition. Your written report is then usually delivered within 3–5 working days. We'll always confirm the exact timeframe at the time of booking.

The Party Wall Act 1996 applies when you want to carry out certain building works near a shared wall or boundary – like an extension, loft conversion or basement. You're legally required to serve notices on your neighbours before work begins. Our party wall surveyors manage the whole process, from serving notices to drafting party wall awards, keeping everything legal and your neighbour onside.
Absolutely – and we actively encourage it. We suggest joining us at the end of the inspection so your surveyor can walk you through the key findings in person. Many clients say this is when the survey really makes sense to them. It's a great opportunity to ask questions and get professional property advice directly from the source.
